Systems Command intends to negotiate a one (1) year extension to Basic
Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-95-G-2807 with Bath Iron Works (BIW)
Corporation, 700 Washington Street, Bath, ME 04530 for Post-Shakedown
Availabilities (PSA) for the DDG 51 AEGIS Destroyer Class Program.
Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF) orders will be negotiated on a sole source
basis with BIW for PSA engineering and management support for DDGs 75,
76 and 77. The orders to be issued will encompass advanced planning
and engineering support, and accomplishment of emergent availabilities
which include Selected Restrictive Availabilities (SRA's); Restricted
Availabilities (RAV's), drydocking availabilities and technical
availabilities. Individual orders placed under the BOA shall be
synopsized, when required, in accordance with applicable requirements.
