Model# 2360 including parts and labor from Coulter Corporation, 11800 Southwest 147 Avenue, Miami, FL 33196. The period of maintenance will be for a base year with 4 consecutive one year option periods. The Institute intends to purchase this maintenance by other than full and open competition from Coulter Corporation who to the best of the knowledge of the Government is the sole manufacturer and distributor of this requirement. This action is under the authority of 41.U.S.C.. 253 (c) (1) as set fourth in the FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold for Commercial Purchases up to $5 million. It is anticipated that Request for Quotation (RFQ) NIH-NIDDK-98-365 will be available (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due fifteen (15) days after the release of the RFQ. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ.
