M -- OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS 15 AND 16 SOL 98C254(N) POC Grace White, Contract Specialist, (404) 842-6553 The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) intends to solicit proposals for a follow-on contract for the operation and maintenance of Buildings 15 and 16, plus an option to add operation and maintenance of Building 17. All buildings are located at CDC's facilities at 1600 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA. Period of performance will be a base year plus four one year option periods. Services include facility maintenance and operation, limited shop services, pest control, custodial services (Bldg 15 only), and kitchen equipment repair and maintenance (Bldg 16 only). Buildings 15 is a six-story building of 95,383 gross square feet of floor space housing Bio-Safety Level 3 and 4 laboratories. Building 16 is a six-story building of 130,000 gross square feet housing a cafeteria, computer center, and administrative offices with an attached four-level parking facility. Building 17 is a seven-story laboratory building of 182,000 gross square feet housing Bio-Safety Level 2 and 3 laboratories. A cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is anticipated.
