R -- MAIL AND MESSENGER SERVICES (GUARD MAIL) SOL N68936-98-R-0185 POC Linda Spector, Contract Specialist, (805) 989-1912 The contractor shall provide necessary personnel and materials to manage, operate and maintain the mail messenger service function. This includes all mail incoming to and outgoing from NSWC/NCBC/CAMAIR/NAWS/NAWCWPNS Point Mugu, and all tenant commands. The contractor will be responsible for receipt, processing, distributing and dispatching official mail, communications (messages, letters, forms publications, parcels and distribution). The contractor shall also be responsible for picking up all of the official outgoing mail and communications (classified and unclassified), sorting it at distribution point or en route,consolidating Navy mail and communications, and coordinating dispatches with United States Postal Service (USPS) and parcel delivery companies. Contractor shall deliver the mail daily to approximately 162 locations identified in the pick-up and delivery schedule listed in the result of reorganizations, office relocations or deactivation. Contractor shall maintain a record of all incoming mail, i.e., estimated number or letter-sized envelopes, flats, parcels and bags received and provide this information to the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative monthly.
