The work consists of extending walkways by driving a set of piling at each site and repositioning the gangway. Reconstruction of the dock at Salt Lake Bay to repair storm damage is also included. The contractor will supply all equipment, transportation, materials, supervision and incidentals to perform the work. Salt Lake Bay and Eight Fathom Bight are located in Port Frederick, approximately 20 kilometers southwest of Hoonah, Alaska. Access is by barge, boat or float plane. Kennel Creek is located in Freshwater Bay, which is approximately 40 kilometers southeast of Hoonah, Alaska. Access is by barge, boat, float plane or by vehicle on the Hoonah Road System.
