Z -- MAINTENANCE DREDGING, NEWPORT BAY HARBOR, ORANGE COUNTY, CA SOL DACW09-98-B-0026 DUE 091798 POC Plans and Specifications, (213) 452-3253 The project consists of maintenance dredging portions of the main channel and upper bay channel in Newport Bay Harbor. Approximately 150,000 cubic meter of material shall be dredged. Dredge limits within the upper bay channel shall be to -3.0 meters MLLW, with a 0.3 meter over depth, and within the main channel shall be to -6.1 meters MLLW, with a 0.3 meter over depth. Disposal shall be at the LA-3 offshore disposal site. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1629, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities, $13.5 M average annual gross revenue for the last (3) three fiscal years. Estimated cost range is $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 18, 1998 at a cost of $7.50 half-size bound-in and $15.00 full-size dwgs -- non refundable. All responsible sources must submit an offer. Small and disadvantaged firms are encouraged to participate as Prime Contractors or as members of joint ventures with other small businesses. In addition, all interested contractors are reminded that the successful contractor will be expected to place subcontracts to the maximum practicable extent with small and disadvantaged firms in accordance with the provisions of Public Law 95-507.
