New HVAC system shall include, but not be limited to, air handler, boiler, air cooled chiller, pump, piping, ductwork, and diffusers/grilles as required. Work also includes replacement of ceiling and lighting, repair/replacement of deteriorated windowsills, new carpet and paint. Asbestos abatement work will be required in the mechanical room and tunnel. SIC Code is 1711/$7.0 Million. The estimated dollar range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. For the purpose of determining small business size, the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $7 million. Performance time is 180 calendar days. Award of the contract is subject to the availability of funds. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the "Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988" and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is Unrestricted; however, solicitation will contain an evaluation preference for SDB concerns.
