D -- TO SOLICIT OFFERS FOR PUBLICATION SERVICES FOR INCLUSION OF ENHANCED FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TELEPHONE LISTINGS (COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE BLUE PAGES) IN THE WHITE PAGES DIRECTORY. SOL TQNKC-98-0001 POC Karen Catella, 703-760-7493, Contracting Officer, Jack Finley, COTR, 202-501-3932 GSA, FTS, is in the process of preparing a RFP for the acquisition of publication Services for inclusion of enhanced Federal Government telephone listings (also known as the Blue Pages)in the White Pages Directory. The Government intends to provide enhanced Blue Pages listings to directory publishers in camera-ready format for publication. The preferred transport method is through a Web interface to an Oracle database using TCPIP. For those publishers not capable of meeting the desired transport method, enhanced Blue Pages listings will be provided for reproduction in camera ready Quarkxpress Plus or Microsoft Word format on zip discs which are to be returned to the government. Representative samples of content and icon Enhanced Blue Pages that typify the desired product that GSA will provide to directory publishers can be downloaded electronically at ftp.fed.gov">http://ftp.fed.gov. They can also be requested in writing at the above address. The period of performance will be 1 year plus 4 option years. Anticipateddate for RFP issuance is 8/10/98.
