Delivery or these services may be required at Madigan Army Medical Center, Yakima Training Center, Vancouver Barracks, Camp Murray, Portland Recruiting Battalion in Portland, Oregon and Oregon Army National Guard in Salem, Oregon and/or other satellite facilities. Offerors must be accredited institutions ofpostsecondary education recognized by Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation (CORPA) and the U.S. Department of Education (ED). It is desirable that institutions are able to grant transferable college credit for programs of instructions. This is a firm fixed-price requirements type contract and delivery orders will be issued. This procurement will consist of a Base Period; 1 October 1998 through 30 September 1999 with three one-year option periods. Estimated issue date of this solicitation is 15 August 1998. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing; telephonic requests are not accepted. This solicitation will be issued on Compact Disk with linking capabilities and their will be a charge. Each potential offeror requesting a solicitation package will be notified by this office, prior to actual issuance of the package to when, where, how much, and the acceptable payment method. Please request prior contract information (FOIA) separately from the solicitation. The proposed procurement listed here is being considered for 100 percent set aside for small business (SB) concerns. Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Office above, evidence of capability to perform. If adequate interest is not received from SB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SB concerns. Concern means any business entity organized for profit with a place of business located in the United States, including, but not limited to: an individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture, association, or cooperative.
