The book, entitled "Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases", also known as "The Pink Book", totals six-hundred (600) pages which consist of fifteen (15) chapters, and ten (10) appendices which define vaccine recommendation statements and other vaccine informational material, tables and charts. The target audience for the translated book is intended to be health care professionals, primarily physicians and nurses whose educational level is college and university trained. Their primary secondary language is Spanish and they work primarily with Spanish-speaking clients. The reading level of the translated version of the book shall represent the educational level of the target audience. The period of performance shall commence upon award and shall continue for a period of thirty days. Vendor will receive English version of book upon award. The Government anticipates making a single award in response to this Request for Quotation (RFQ). Offerors are advised that this RFQ is issued Set Aside for Small Business, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Sic Code 7389, 5M gross annual receipts is applicable. RFQ packages will be available on or about July 27,1998. Closing date for submission of RFQ responses is August 10, 1998.
