CONSTRUCTION ROUNDTABLE The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Great Lakes & Ohio River Division will be hosting this year's Construction Roundtable in November 3 & 4, 1998. Our purpose for meeting with the construction industry is to create a regional forum whereby items of mutual interest could be discussed with the goal of reaching a better understanding for each others business practices, processes, and interests. The ultimate goal being to improve the product and services we provide our customers. One outcome of the meeting might be a Regional Partnering Agreement the focuses on some key areas that we could jointly pursue to achieve better quality construction. The venue for this conference is the Drawbridge Inn at Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. This year our Division Commander, Brigadier General Hans A. Van Winkle will address the congregation and his seven District Commanders are being invited to brief their respective civil and military programs. Also, we will be reporting progress on last year's issues.
