This project is a fixed price contract for a design/build expansion of approximately 49,200 sq. ft. of a Processing & Distribution Center located at 675 Wolf Ledges Parkway, Akron, Ohio. This project involves the construction of an expansion of approximately 35,670 sq. ft. on the north side of the building containing a mezzanine of approximately 13,530 sq. ft. over a portion of the workroom floor, and an on-grade under structure parking garage; demolition of existing miscellaneous spaces and converting those spaces to workroom or offices; removal and construction of a new platform wall separating the workroom floor and the platform area on the south side of the building; and construction and realignment of various employee parking areas as indicated on Drawings. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, landscaping, concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, steel structure, steel joists and decking, roof membrane over roof insulation, sheet metal, masonry, limestone panels, prefinished metal panels, metal stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, aluminum windows, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door hardware, metal fabrications, toilet partitions and accessories, signage, lockers, bridge crane, elevator, fire protection and detection systems, security systems, battery room, parking garage exhaust system, electrical, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning complete and ready for use. Errors and omissions insurance in amount of $500,00 will be required. Technical evaluations will be made based on a 100 point total (Experience -- 40, (2).
