16 -- FATIGUE ENGINE MONITOR SYSTEM TPS AND CONVERTER INTERFACE UNIT TPS SOL N68335-98-Q-0277 DUE 072298 POC Laurie Paz, Code 2130, (732) 323-4188 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst intends to enter into negotiations with Northrop Grumman Corporation for acquisition of 3 additional sets of the Fatigue Engine Monitor System (FEMS) F-14 WRA CASS TPS and the Converter Interface Unit (CIU) F-14 WRA CASS TPS to support the F-14B aircraft. The FEMS TPS is used to test the Flight Maintenance Indicator (FMI) and the CIU TPS is used to test the Engine Instrument Group Indicator (EIG). Delivery of the FEMS TPS and the CIU TPS is required no later than 9 months after award. It is intended to issue a firm fixed price order to Northrop Grumman Corp under Basic Ordering Agreement N68335-97-G-0143 to satisfy this requirement. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government has no drawings, designs or source data for the required FEM and CIU TPS. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition.
