The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT), RI anticipates award of a firm fixed price purchase order for the acquisition of a five-ton crane. The contractor shall furnish and install all components of a five-ton bridge crane in Building 68 on Pier 2 at the Naval Education and Training Center, Newport, RI. Crane rails, rail supports and other structural steel components shall be in accordance with Specification Section 05120 (Structural Steel). Crane bridge trolley, hoist, and components shall be in accordance with Specification Section 14636 (Cranes, Overhead Electric, Top Running (under 20,000)). Location, arrangement and installation shall be in accordance with NUWCDIVNPT Dwg. No. 98-12A, Revision A. Crane installation and testing shall be completed within 90 days after award. Offerors must request a copy of the Solicitation in writing. Specifications and drawing will be mailed with the RFQ. Telephone requests will not be honored. This is a 100% small business setaside.
