source acquisition in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and Federal
Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no
other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to
Printrak International Inc., 1250 North Tustin Avenue, Anaheim,
California 92807, for an Automated Fingerprint Identification System
input station compatible with the livescan 2000 booking stations
already purchased by the U.S. Park Police. Those responding to this
synopsis must provide evidence of their ability to connect to the
Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department and other local area
network central site AFIS. Affirmative responses should include pricing
data and should be forwarded to reach this office NLT COB the fifteenth
day after publication of this notice. All responses from responsible
sources will be fully considered. Solicitation documents are not
available; however, as a result of responses to this synopsis of
intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will
