The Government intends to negotiate with McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St Louis, MO, 63166-0516, to procure on-site maintenance support for the Electronic Warfare Hot Mock-Up for the F/A-18 Electronic Warfare Hot Mock-up for Switzerland and Finland. This effort is to be performed from December 1, 1998 through April 30, 1999, and it is anticipated that this will be made via delivery order under N00019-97-G-0051. According to their Letter of Agreement with the United States, Switzerland and Finland has designated the McDonnell Douglas Corporation the sole source designer, producer, and supporter of the F/A-18 aircraft and the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and proprietary technical data to perform this task within the required time-frame.
