Keammerlen, Contracting Officer (312)886-8581 The Chicago Regional Support Office (CRSO) is interested in acquiring the services of a small business to develop a workbook which will guide housing providers through the selection, acquisition, manufacture, installation, and performance verification of a five star energy efficient modular home. The workbook shall be targeted toward Community Housing Development Organizations and other affordable housing providers in the Midwest and Great Lakes Region, and should be suitable for curriculum, instructional, or mentoring purposes. The workbook will incorporate clear organization, simplified language, and practical examples to make it a useful tool for those unfamiliar with modular housing and energy efficiency practices. It should be printed in black ink on standard white paper, 8 1/2" x 11" size, double-sided, bound by plastic binding comb or similar fastening, and no greater than 200 pages in length, making it inexpensive to reproduce and disseminate. There are no specific graphics requirements, however, the need for customized graphic art is not envisioned. The awardee will be required to provide a draft of the workbook to CRSO within four months fromthe date of award and a camera-ready master copy of the workbook, along with 20 reproduced copies to CRSO within twelve months from the date of award.
