Security Vulnerability Assessment (2) Bomb Blast Consequence Effects
Analysis (3) Combat/ Force Engagement Analysis Sandia National
laboratories, Albuquerque, New Mexico, with funding from the National
Institute of Justice, is finalizing a document to give a comprehensive
overview of currently available tools for assessing vulnerabilities.
Specifically, Sandia is surveying analytical tools that have potential
for use in performing assessments of vulnerability to terrorist
attacks. Tools surveyed will include available software modeling and
analysis tools, applicable to buildings or facilities for analyzing or
modeling (1) the vulnerabilities of the physical security system or
(2) the effects of terrorists acts such as a bomb blast or the
dispersal of hazardous materials or (3) the results of combat/ guard
force engagements. Sandia is soliciting information from companies or
organizations interested in having their products included in this
document. Please limit your response to onlythose products that are
presently available, or will be within one year. If you responded to a
similar, but more general, request from Sandia, in October 1997 or if
you have recently been contacted for information for this survey,
there is no need to provide additional information at this time. Please
