construction of two separate solar powered potable water systems; one
for the 4th of July Campground and one for Red Canyon Campground.
Quotations will be evaluated on the basis of advantages to the
Government, which may result in award of both projects to one
contractor, or award of the individual projects to separate
contractors. Work for each campground includes water analysis and test
pumping for an existing cased well, providing and installing a
submersible water pump, pitless adapter, mechanical (non-electrical)
hypochlorinator, new waterlines, a disinfection building, a stand alone
photovoltaic system for water distribution, and other minor items of
work in accordance with the drawings, specifications and requirements
of the contract. 4th of July also requires installation of a 4,000
gallon buried, fiberglass water storage tank and four water hydrants.
Projects are located on the Mountainair Ranger District on the Cibola
National Forest. Price range is $100,000 to $250,000. Costof package is
