Lucas, Contracting Officer, 907/384-7105 (Site Code DAPC49) The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, supervision, management, equipment, materials, supplies, and transportation necessary to perform all work, including work of an incidental nature, to furnish and install a Ball Type Automatic Tube Cleaning System in Building 3595 at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. This project includes, but is not limited to, Construct a concrete pad for the pump unit; Install pump unit on pad; Install all piping, control valves and appurtenances to connect the pumping unit and associated ball strainers to each condenser; Install sleeves for any required floor or wall pipe penetrations to connect the pump unit and ball strainers to the condensers; Install all controls as specified. The cleaning system controls shall be compatible with the power plant's existing Westinghouse WDPF Version 7 Control System; Integrate the cleaning system controls with the main plant control system so that the cleaning system can be monitored from the main plant control room. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This requirement is subject to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and will include the Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business concerns in Construction Acquisition-Test Program.
