The Army requires a contract for the furnishing of all plant, labor, materials, and equipment, and perform all work in connection with replacing hoists, Building 850 and 860, Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Work includes but is not necesssarily restricted to: Removing existing overhead electric hoists and controls; installing new hoists, motors, drives, controls, and accessories onto existing 4 ton (8000 lb) bridge cranes; relocating existing hoist from 5 ton monorail track to structural beam in opposite end tier of the hangar; providing electrical and control work and modify existing structural attachments to accommodate hoists selected; performing final testing of hoists, bridge crane, and trolley systems. Performance time is 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Sic Code for this project is 1731. Project is unrestricted, all responsible businesses may submit a bid. Magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. There is no charge for the solicitation package.
