equipment, transportation and supervision required to 1) fabrication
and installation of two offshore range lights in Corpus Chrisit, TX.;
2) The salvage removal and disposal of the existing wood structures and
all debris from the structure. Removal of the existing structures at
each location will be a minimum of three feet below the existing
mudline; 3) Contractor shall include 24 hrs. cumulative of his spread
cost in the bid price to recover all existing debris on bottom at both
platform locations; and 4) Contractor shall be responsble for all
transportation of GFE to the work site. Contractor shall install
optics, batteries and solar panels etc. Coast Guard personnel will
perform final optic alignments. All work shall be performed at the USCG
Corpus Christi Channel Cut B East Ranges located near Corpus Chrisit,
TX. The estimated range of this procurement is $500,000 to $1M. The SIC
Code is 1629. The Bid Opening Date is ON/OR ABOUT 8/24/98. A Bid Bond
in the amount of 20% of the total bid is required. This procurement is
open to both large and small businesses in accordance with the Small
Business Competitiveness Demonstration Act. There is a $30.00
non-refundable fee required (per set). Payment shall be made to the
