Project No. JKSE 982901, includes, but is not limited to, plant, labor, material, equipment, and supervision to upgrade of two (2) natural gas fired boilers and all associated circulation pumps, fittings and controls and the upgrade of two (2) roof-top AC units. Work on boilers consists of demolition and removal of existing boilers, flues, pumps, piping, electrical and expansion tanks. Installation of Cast Iron Sectional Boilers, with controls, flues, combustion air and electrical, concrete pads, gas piping, pumps, piping with insulation, valves and miscellaneous parts. Work on the boiler system takes precedence and must be completed within the first sixty (60) days of construction. Upgrade of two (2) Roof-top AC units, one (1) 10 ton, one (1) 4 ton with economizer consists of duct connections and modification controls and temperature control modifications, demolition of existing units,cutting and patching of roof and roof curb. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 with completion within 120 calendar days of the notice to proceed. The Standard Industrial Classification is 1541. Bid documents are anticipated to be available 15 days from date of this notice. Bid opening date is approximately thirty days after issuance of solicitation. Only written requests for drawings and specifications will be accepted. All requests must indicate business size and minority status. A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as a result of this solicitation.
