Work includes removal of parapet flashings and replacement of same with an aluminum flashing system (.032"); removal of approximately three feet of roofing and insulation system adjacent to the removed flashing and replacement with new insulation, pressure-treated wood nailer, and modified bitumen type roofing system. Work at the low roofs include removal of the metal side wall flashing for the upper floor and replacement of same with new aluminum (.032") flashings; removal of approximately three feet of roofing and insulation system adjacent to the removed side wall flashing and replacement with new insulation and modified bitumen type roofing system. Options may be exercised at the time of award or within 90 days of contract award and include the following: installation of an aluminum (.032") coping system over the precast concrete parapet and replacement of building sealants at the precast joints and at the joints between the metal windows and the precast concrete panels. The estimated cost range of this requirement is between $100,000 to $250,000. Period of performance is 120 calendar days if options are awarded. Plans/specs will be available approximately 7/23/98.
