ML-97-SB-2328 The Bi-State Development Agency (Agency) is soliciting bids for the communications system design and construction from 5th & Missouri to Belleville Area College for the St. Clair County MetroLink Extension. The Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal is 22%. DBE firms are invited to propose directly or with another firm. The work consists of design, fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, installation, factory and field testing, commissioning, and warranting of all facts of the communication system. The communication system will include: fire and intrusion system, expanded mobile radio system, expanded carrier transmission, expanded Central Control Facility (CCF), microprocessor controlled communications unit (MCCU), expanded emergency telephone system (ETS), expanded passenger assistance telephone (PAT), expanded public address (PA) system, expanded closed circuittelevision (CCTV), expanded supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system, all cables and connection, all battery systems, system training, and all spare material and test equipment necessary. The integration to the existing LRT system will also be a responsibility of this procurement.
