Calabro, Contracting Officer, 202/305-7331 UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a firm fixed price requirements type contract for two years. The items procured will be a variety of packaging boxes that will be used to pack paint brushes and push brooms. The items will be procured for the UNICOR factory in LaTuna,Texas. The boxes will be manufactured in accordance with Federal Specifications PPP-B-566E dated 08/02/74 and amendment 3 dated 11/28/80. Prices will be FOB Destination to the UNICOR LaTuna facility in Anthony, Texas. Bid Samples will be required by all contractors who have not previously provided these items to UNICOR. Samples are due by the solicitation closing date and time. Contractors will send two samples of each item to the Ms. Elke Westfall, Quality Assurance Manager, FPI LaTuna,, PO Box 1000, Anthony, NM 88021. This is an "All or None" award. A contract will be awarded to the contractor who offers the lowest aggretate offer. Evaluation factors will be based on the following Best Value criteria: Price, Past Performance, Technical, and Delivery. Items will be order via individual delivery orders by the contracting officer at FPI LaTuna, TX. All responsible/responsive contractors will be considered for award.
