A -- BMDO MODELING, SIMULATION AND NETWORK SUPPORT SOL HQ0006-95-C-0018 POC POC: Mr. Marc Lesser, (703) 604-4242, CBD Reference Number BMDO 98-09 The Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO) intends to enter into a sole source contract modification with TRW, Inc., Systems Integration Group, to modify the existing Ballistic Missile Defense Integration (BMDI) Information Technology Resources (ITR) Program, under Contract HQ0006-95-C-0018. The planned modification will establish a one (1) year effort for continued support to the BMDO BMDI Program Integrator for Modeling, Simulation and Networking (MS&N), as well as establish three (3) one (1) year options. Currently, TRW analyzes and assesses BMDO MS&N requirements and resources available/planned, identifies baseline system architecture(s), and assists in developing requirement specifications and target architectures to satisfy BMDO's current and future MS&N requirements. Under the proposed effort (in addition to continuing current support activities), TRW will support ITR system engineering (SE) tasking that includes SE interfaces with other BMDO and BMDO-related organizations to address issues related to verification and validation, requirements, standard methods and tools, and build-to standards; support Virtual Data Center (VDC) system initial operating capability implementation and the VDC qualification testing; and provide SE support to the BMDO Wargaming 2000 verification, validation and accreditation Agent.
