Administration (NASA), Office of Space Science is releasing a NASA
Research Announcement (NRA 98-OSS-08) entitled Joint U.S./Russian
Research in Space Science Program which will be available July 23,
1998. This NRA solicits proposals for supporting basic research,
analysis, and technology whose objectives are to foster new scientific
partnerships and strengthen existing ones between U.S. and Russian
Space Science investigators in the fields of planetary science,
astrophysics, astrobiology, and space physics to promote joint research
in space science. Participation is open to all categories of U.S. and
Russian organizations, including educational institutions, profit and
nonprofit organizations, NASA centers, and other U.S. Government
agencies. Upon the release date, specific guidance for proposal
preparation will be available electronically from the World Wide Web by
selecting "Research Opportunities" at:
