The description for the original synopsis was as follows: The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division at Patuxent River, Maryland announces its intentions to acquire services for the continued design and development of a "Parametric Airborne Dipping Sonar (PADS)" and its installation on the SH-60F helicopter. The services and installation of the PADS will be procured on a sole source basis from Sonetech Corporation who is the designer of the PADS system and holds the US Patent (No. 5,237,541) for a platform carried bistatic sonar. The proposed effort will be obtained utilizing a cost plus incentive fee contract. The period of performance will be approximately 8 months.
