The Army requires a contract to Repair Roof, Building 512, Fort Stewart, Georgia. The work includes, but is not limited to, Existing roof on Bldg 512 consists of two roofs. The first roof is a built-up roof with gravel over rigid insulation over metal deck, and the second roof which is a PVC single ply over 1" recovery over top of the built-up roof. Contractor to remove existing roofs down to the metal deck, including nailers and blocking, metal fascias and wall caps, wall flashing, equipment curbs, miscellaneous pip and roof penetration flashing, pitch pockets, with any repairs required to metal deck, and reroof with modified bitumen roof system as specified and shown on drawings; all metal items: fascias, wall caps, flashings, etc., shallbe new metal, shaped and secured as shown on drawings, with all new pressure treated wood blocking or nailers, securely fastened to structures or roof deck; walkways of modified asphalt bitumen roof system; and metal equipment screen to be repainted as shown. Performance shall be completed within 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. SIC is 1761. The requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. There is a nonrefundable fee in the amount of $25.00 for the solicitation package. Fee shall be in the form of Company Check, Certified Check, or Money Order and made payable to the TREASURER OF THE UNITED STATES. NO CASH will be accepted.
