Provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to modernize the operation, monitoring and control of the Fort McCoy water distribution facilities by replacing the water plant wellhouse controls with a modern, electronic, automated, distributed, programmable logic controller based system with a central PC software-based interface. All work will be performed in strict accordance with the Statement of Work and drawings pertinent to this procurement. This shall include all permit and certification fees. Some of the work requires removing the existing pumping controls, display board lights, and signals in Building 5014. Existing motor starters and disconnect switches shall remain. The existing system is Autocon with a Cutler Hammer Motor Control Center backup. Contractor to provide a main programmable logic controller that will accept all the inputs from all the controllers located in each wellhouse, the controllers for the pumps located in Building 5014, the South Post wells and the Airfield well(similar to Allen Bradley SLC-500 or any product/controller able to operate all pumps from Bldg. 5014 and shall also be able to track and accumulate the operating times of each pump. All controllers, sensors, display panel, and software shall be provided from one manufacturer and shall all be fully compatible. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A payment bond of 50% will be required on award. Performance will be 150 calendar days. Requests should be received before the issue date of 29 July 1998. Closing date will be COB 25 Aug 1998.
