The Army requires a contract to Replace Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning Systems (HVAC), Building 251, Fort Stewart, Georgia. The work includes, but is not limited to, removing existing air handling units, condensing units, refrigerant lines, radiators, steam piping, and related items; handle and dispose of existing refrigerant in accordance with specificatins; install new air handling units, condensing units, and refrigerant lines; install new heating coils, steam piping and insulation, valves and related items;install new controls and electrical wiring and components for new equipment; install new ductwork, insulation, diffusers, and grilles; install new concrete pads for outdoor condensing units; reinforce and repair deteriorated floors beneath new indoor equipment; and perform testing, adjusting, and balancing of new heating and air conditioning systems. Performance shall be completed within 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. SIC is 1711. The requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. There is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 for the solicitation package. The fee shall be submitted with the WRITTEN request for the solicitation package. Fee shall be in the form of Certified Check, Company Check, or Money Order and shall be made payable to the TREASURER OF THE UNITED STATES. NO CASH will be accepted.
