The US Army CECOM Acquisition Center-Washington intends to modify contract DAAK70-93-C-0055 with Orange Technologies of Gaithersburg, MD to extend the period of performance for the contract from 22 August 1998 to 30 September 1998. The continued services include maintenance and operation of the Belvoir LAN, operation of the help desk and technical support of various computer equipment. The purchase is being made under the auspices of Other than Full and Open Competition. Orange Technologies has an extensive knowledge of the Fort Belvoir DOIM operations and equipment.
