Notice of intent to award contract DTCG80-98-P-3FC866 on a sole source
basis to Keith Dixon Systems under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The
requirement is for Spinner II Centrifugal Oil Cleaning System STBD Main
#1920-684-12-1613 and for the Port Main #1620-684-12-1613. These units
include: 600HD/SPII Centrifuge w/anti vibration isolator & welding
base w/hardware. Aux supply unit 3ph 208-230/460v w/mounting base of
anti-vibration. NEMA 4x Motor controller w/indicating lighting for
appropriate functions. Suction strainer 1 1/2" FMIP-40 mesh vacuum,
discharge & air gages S.S. Glycerine filled. Service Kit
#0772-197-61-0000 w/tools, spare o-ring kit, hose and fitting kits for
items above. This is to have On site Technical support for
Installation, Start up and Crew instructions/training.
Installation/Operation manuals with parts sheets for entire
installation with part numbers. Genset Spinner II 96SE/CM for Cat 3406B
SSDG P/N 2220-042-96-0498. This work is to be delivered by July 17,
1998. The standard industrial classification code is 3561 and the size
standard is 500. Interested persons may identify their interest and
capability to respond to the request or submit a quote. This notice of
intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However all quotes
received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be
considered by the government. A determination by the government not to
compete with the proposed contract upon responses to this notice is
solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will
normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to
conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone requests will be
