The work includes the following: demolition of existing boiler, oil fired water heaters, oil pump system, flue stacks, piping, controls, concrete pads, and related accessory components (removal of existing underground fuel oil tank serving equipment to be removed is not required); installation of new high temperature water to hot water converter (heat exchanger) for comfort heating (existing underground high temperature water lines from valve pit to the building are already in place); installation of new hot water generator with storage tank for domestic water heating; installation of piping and piping components; installation of controls for the heat exchanger and hot water generator control valves; installation of equipment pads, steel supports, and pipe hangars; installation of thermal insulation on new piping and equipment; final testing, adjusting, and balancing of installed systems. Performance is expected to be completed within 90 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. This project is solicited on an unrestricted basis under SIC 1711. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. There is no charge for this package and requests for such should be made in writing to the above address.
