This solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis in accordance with DOD FAR CLAUSE 252.219-7008. Replies are requested from all concerns as well as from large business concerns. Work includes but is not limited to the following: replace current steam meters, manufactured by Applied Concepts, with meters manufactured by Industrial Power and Process Corporation, or approved equal. Furnish and install eight steam meters and necessary piping. Meters must be compatible with the Barber-Coleman Network 8000 Direct Digital Control system. All work will be performed on Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. The magnitude of this requirement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitations will be available on or about 24 Jul 98.
