(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number F64133-98-Q0434. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and shall be awarded on an all or none basis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-4. (iv) This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The associated standard industrial classification code is 3442. The small business size standard is 500 employees. (v) Offerors shall structure their quote using the following items: LINE ITEM 0001 -- Bldg 1091, Ocean View, replace glazing, fixed windows, 18 each. LINE ITEM 0002 -- Bldg 2647, Fire Pump, replace aluminum louvers and replace stainless steel screen, 56 each. LINE ITEM 0003 -- Bldg 2797, Dog Kennel, replace aluminum window, glazing and trim, 5 each. LINE ITEM 0004 -- Bldg 9602, Sirena Beach House, replace window screen, 11 each and replace door screen, 3 each. LINE ITEM 0005 -- Bldg 1815, Control Tower, replace aluminum window, glazing and trim, 2 each. LINE ITEM 0006 -- Bldg 20014, CE Covered Storage, replace screen, 2 each. LINE ITEM 0007 -- Bldg 21000 Multi Facility, replace glazing, fixed window, 1 each. LINE ITEM 0008 -- Bldg 22007, Self Help Store, replace window louvers, 3 each. LINE ITEM 0009 -- Bldg 25006, Arts & Craft Center, replace glazing, fixed window, 1 each. (vi) Description: The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools and equipment, materials, transportation, and facilities necessary to repair/replace damaged windows, louvers and screens on various buildings, Andersen AFB, Guam. Statement of Work: Demolition/Preparation Remove and dispose of all broken/cracked glass, broken/damaged window frames, broken/bent louvers and torn screens. In any location where plexiglass, plywood or other temporary materials were used to secure the opening, these materials should be removed and properly disposed of. Where window units are being replaced, all surfaces damaged by the contractor will be repaired, at no additional cost to the government, to the original state. This includes, but is not limited to: framing, walls, paint, wall paper and flooring. New Work Install new materials as specified on the spread sheet available from the buyer. All units (i.e. frame, trim, etc.) will be anodized bronze finish. (vii) Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, no later than 30 days after date of award. The performance period is 90 days. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
