Bureau is requesting offers for the purchase of a sport utility
vehicle. This procurement is a small business set aside. All necessary
information to make an offer is contained in this notice. No
additional solicitation will be mailed out. Offers will be considered
for 1 Ford Expedition. The vehicle must be 4 door, 4x4 four wheel
drive, 5.4l V8 cylinder gasoline engine, 230 HP at 4250 RM, automatic
transmission, 2 speed electronic transfer case, power steering, power
brakes with discs and antilock braking system, dula power signal
mirrors, power windows, power door locks with keyless entry system,
power driver's seat, dual front seat electric lumbar support, vehicle
information center, automatic headlamp system, duall ILL. vanity
mirrors, P265/7017 radial tires, 17" cast aluminum wheels, leather
wrapped steering wheel, tilt steering wheel, speed control, body side
moldings, dual air conditioning, deep tinted privacy glass, radio AM/FM
stereo cassette, premium sound system, 6 disc CD changer, digital
clock, rear window defroster, rear window wiper/washer, off road
suspension, rear differential lock, trailering equipment, skid plate
package, tachometer and gauges, illuminated entry system, extra quiet
insulation pack, floor mats and cargo cover, center and overhead
console, driver's side air bag, passenger's side air bag, dual
reflecting bucket seats, rear split folding bench seat, third seat row
(tumble down) leather upholstery, 7 passenger seating, second row
seats shall be bucket seats and preferred color is black, dark blue or
any other dark color available. the government will make an award to
the responsible offeror(s) whose offers conforms to the solicitation
contained herein and is most advantageous to the government (i.e., that
which represents the best value to the government), cost or price or
other factors including time required for delivery will be considered.
The combined relative merit of the technical evaluation factors are
listed above will be more significant than cost or price in the
selection of the contractor. While the cost or price factor has no
numerical weight, it is criterion in the overall evaluation of the
proposals. Furthermore, the proposed cost or price must be considered
reasonable and must reflect the proposed technical requirements of the
vehicle. The government may award a contract to other than the lowest
price offer. In the event that 2 or more offers are considered
technically equivalent, the evaluated cost or price and delivery time
will be of primary importance in determining the proposal most
advantageous to the government. Delivery period must be greater than 90
days. Total price quoted for the vehicle must be FOB price to
Bensenville, Illinois. IMPORTANT: The solicitation is contained in this
notice. Vendors have all necessary information to present an offer.
There is no additional solicitation to be mailed out. All responsible
sources may submit offers which shall be considered by the Bureau.
