D -- UPGRADE OF INSTALLATION UTILITY MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM SOL DABT11-98-Q-0109 DUE 073098 POC Contract Specialist SUSANNE MEREDITH (706) 791-1822 (Site Code DABT11) This procurement is for a firm, fixed price services contract to furnish all personnel, equipment, transportation, software programs, material, firmware and software, supplies, lodging and associated expenses to provide a complete and functional upgrade to the Fort Gordon, Georgia Utility Monitoring and Control System (UMCS). The system shall be upgraded to the latest version of Info-Scan software available and be configured on a network server utilizing the Micosoft Windows NT Server V4.0 operating system using an Ethernet token ring Local Area Network (LAN). All supplies shall be Year 2000 compatible. The proposed contract action is for services to upgrade the current system which is under a maintenance contract. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Dorsett's, Incorporated, Yadkinville, NC under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
