THIS SOLICITATION IS RESTRICTED TO GENERAL CONTRACTORS PREVIOUSLY PRE-QUALIFIED UNDER SOLICITATION 193045-98-A-0534. On or about 7/13/98, this office will issue a Request for Proposal for construction of the Southwest Station in Sioux Falls, SD. Proposals will be opened on 8/12/98 at 3:00 PM. THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC PROPOSAL OPENING. The value of the work is estimated to be between $2,600,000 and $2,900,000. Description of the work is:. The project consists of a new Postal Carrier Annex approximately 24,000 sq ft. Contractor is responsible for all permits, fees, all sales tax, and coordination with Postal vendors equipment installation required to complete project. Facility is located on Track L, Lot 1 in Block 6 of Valhalla Addition to the City of Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, South Dakota 57106. The contractor will be required to commence work within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and complete within 300 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be accessed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. There will be a NON-REFUNDABLE FEE FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
