PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST PLANS NOW. A SOLICITATION NOTICE WILL BE PUBLISHED BEFORE INVITATIONS ARE ISSUED. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipemtn, transportation, supervision and construction to remove existing bur down to the existing insulation board. Replace any damaged ISO insulation as necessary. Install a 3/4-inch perlite recovery board over existing insulation and a new 1 X 4 wood nailer around the edges of the roofs. Remove existing sump type roof drains and install taper insulation to form a new drainage area. Provide new drain flashing. Work also includes new pitch pockets. Install a new S.B.S modified bit roofing system. Provide new base flashing, extend counterflashing or replace as necessary. In area A install umbrella type counterflashing on the steel roof penetrations. Install a new section of downspout on the upper section of roof located on the southwest corner of the hangar bays. On all of the gutter on the hangar bay roof repair leaky joints, repair strips, etc. so that the gutter will not leak, and incidental related work. Posted 07/10/98. (0191)
