41 -- REMOVE TWO 30-TON A/C UNITS AND REPLACE WITH TWO 30-TON A/C UNITS SOL F38601-98-T0837 DUE 072498 POC Contact SSgt Trina Woolf at (803)895-6010 ext 267. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation incorporated provisions and clauses identified in FAR Subpart 12, Federal Acquisition Circular 90-43, December 1996, as required. Standard Industrial Classification is 1711. This project will be procured using Commercial Item Procedures. The work includes but is not limited to providing all labor, tools, material, equipment, and transportation necessary to remove two (2) existing air conditioning units and replace and install two (2) 30 ton split system air conditioning units with compressors in condensing unit. Install new refrigeration lines, new wiring to condensing units, and connections to existing ducts. NOTE: Controls not included. New controls will be installed by SIEBEControls. Contractor installing A/C units must ensure that units will work with new control system. All above said work will be performed in building 1207 in the AIS Section at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. Please include warranty provisions for the A/C units and installation.
