The District of Columbia (District), Office of Financial Operations and Systems has a requirement for a contractor to provide detailed results of a physical inventory of fixed assets valued at greater than $1,000 for the following categories of assets: automation/computer equipment; vehicles; copy machines; heavy machinery; and telecommunications equipment. The contractor must be able to update the existing fixed assets database and inventory tracking system, Fact Plus, which maintains detail records for existing assets, acquisitions, disposals and future transactions. The agencies requesting full physical inventory count are Metropolitan Police Department (21 locations), University of the District of Columbia (2 locations), Department of Public Works (70 locations).
