Invitation to Submit Offers: The Gifford-Pinchot National Forest,
Mount St Helens National Volcanic Monument is accepting ofers for a
restaurant and gift shop concession special use permit for the
Coldwater Ridge Visitor Center and Cascade Peaks Viewpoint Concessions.
Coldwater Ridge VC is located 92 miles northeast of Vancouver,
Washington, 45 miles east of Castle Rock on SR 504. The Center is a
19,500 sq ft building owned by the US Government, and consists of a
circulation area, exhibit gallery, and the 7,500 sq ft restaurant and
gift shop. This site has been in operation for 5 years. The Cascade
Peaks concession is located 35 miles south of Randle, Washington, at
the junction of Forest Service Roads 99 and 2560. The concessionaire
provides the building at this east side location. This site has been
serving visitors to the Mount St Helens National Volcanic Monument
since 1983. These concessions will provide visitors with food, books,
veverages, and educational material. A prospectus containing the
