Program Announcement for support services required for the creation of multiple state repositories in support of the National Pipeline Mapping Systems (NPMS). Types of services required will include the creation of individual state repositories, assistance in finalizing draft pipeline mapping data standards; data collection; data conversion, processing, and maintenance utilizing a geographic information system (GIS); and dissemination of pipeline data. This program announcement will result in the award of multiple cooperative agreements (50/50 cost sharing). This announcement does not solicit contractor support which is being solicited at this time under a separate announcement (http://www.rspa.dot.gov) for architect and engineering mapping services related to supporting a National Repository for the NPMS. Proposals are invited from state agencies interested in becoming a state repository under the NPMS. The state repository may be a single state agency, a contractor or university working on behalf of a state agency, or several state agencies working together.
