Armstrong (970) 490-7216; Cheryl Smith (970) 490-7523 The Western Area Power Administration (Western) has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes design, furnishing, and installation of a complete metal roofing system including metal sub-framing, metal roofing, insulation and all other appurtenant accessories. The installation shall be complete for two buildings, the control building and the garage building; both are masonry wall construction. This project will be performed at Western's Vernal Substation located in Uintah County, UT. The estimated order of magnitude of this project is between $100K -- $250K. The solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be issued in hard copy FREE OF CHARGE. NOTE: In accordance with FAR 5.102-3, "Western procurement officials shall limit availability of solicitations." Therefore, only a limited number of copies of this solicitation will be available to be distributed by this office. Copies of this solicitation will be issued on a "first-come, first-served bases". Additional copies of this solicitation will be available through various "Plan Holders Rooms." All work for the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) must be completed NLT within 120 calendar days. Western issues a Notice to Proceed. All the CLINs will be delivery FOB destination. There will be only one award made from this solicitation. Therefore, all bidders must submit their bids on an "all or none basis". This solicitation will be issued on or about August 4, 1998. The projected bid opening is on or about September 9, 1998. This proposed procurement is unrestricted full and open competition. All responsible bidders may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Agency. All requests must be in writing.
