This will be a three phase project to rehabilitate an existing sewer/septic system and will consist of the following: Phase one will be the excavation to allow for new installation, than filling in one foot lifts to allow for compaction and grading and will occur in two locations. The first excavation site will allow for the instalation of two 1250 gallon steel septic tanks, a 300 gallon HDPE lift station tank and a six foot diameter manhole pipe of which two pieces must be assembled in place. The Second phase will involve work aroung two existing manhole structures and an open hole for access to install 6"PVC cleanouts and will also occur in two locations. The third phase will involve filling existing tanks, partially excavating around the existing access structure above these tanks and filling this existing stucture to final grade. All work will be accomplished in Bettles, Alaska. Work must be completed by August 15, 1998 due to inclement weather occuring after this date. All work will comply with OSHA regulations.
