The components to be procured are 100 each latch catches (Pioneer UAV, Inc. Part Number 36006-43014-1), 20 each fitting assemblies (Pioneer UAV, Inc. Part Number 40157-44275-10), 200 each screw captives (Pioneer UAV, Inc. Part Number 2956-42580), 200 each springs (Pioneer UAV, Inc. Part Number 2956-56004), 200 each screw captives (Pioneer UAV, Inc. Part Number 2951-56065-00), and 10 each filters (Pioneer UAV, Inc. Part Number 2928-90023). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with Pioneer UAV, Incorporated, PO Box 738, Hunt Valley, MD 21030-0738. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. Pioneer UAV, Inc. is the only authorized distributor of the above listed aircraft and system components and owns the proprietary data rights. This will be a firm fixed price contract.
