The Navy requires one semiautomatic integrated circuit probe system in accordance with an NSWC Crane performance specification. The system shall consist of a prober base assembly, optical subsystem, remote control probeheads, system computer, vibration isolation subsystem, and thermal chuck subsystem. The wafer stage shall have a DC motor-driven programmable movement (X, Y, Z and Theta). The optical subsystem shall consist of a motorized microscope movement (X,Y,Z), motorized focus, motorized objective turret, color CCD TV camera, minimum 20 inch VGTA monitor, optical microscope, and multiple wavelength laser for passivation and metalization removal. The vibration subsystem shall provide vertical and horizontal damping of vibration to enable submicron probing of integrated circuits. The thermal chuck system must allow frost-free probing from 65 degrees C to +400 degrees C for wafers or packaged IC's. Contractor installation, training of Government employees, and options for out-year maintenance will beincluded. Delivery is required FOB Crane, IN within 120 days after contract award. Final inspection and acceptance will be at destination. The procurement will be structured for a greatest value award, considering price, price-related factors, and past performance.
