A -- TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE FHWA STRUCTURAL RESEARCH LABORATORIES SOL DTFH61-98-R-00087 DUE 082098 POC Mr. Alan Finfrock, (202)366-0125 The announcement for the referenced solicitation, originally posted on CBDNet on June 16, 1998, is hereby modified as follows: (1) the anticipated contract will consist of a 2 year base period with 3 1-year Government options; (2)the projected due date for receipt of proposals is extended to August 20, 1998; and (3) in accordance with FAR 19.506 this requirement is designated for FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. As indicated in the initial announcement, this requirement is to provide non-personal technical support services for the 3 structural research laboratories located at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center. Additionally, the contractor selected for this effort may be required to perform research studies on highway and bridge structures at field locations and other facilities on a task order basis. All interested parties may request a copy of the solicitation by sending a written request accompanied by two-self addressed gummed mailing labels, and referencing the RFP number to the address indicated above. Telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be accepted. Note: all RFP's will be mailed on 3.5" diskettes in WordPerfect 6.1 format to offerors submitting written requests.
